Course Title: Advanced Qualitative Methods: Critical Ethnography
Course Description: Critical theories—postmodernism, poststructuralism, poscolonialism, feminism, queer theory—and their implications for conceptualizing, conducting, analyzing, and representing one’s research. Political and ethical dimensions inherent in qualitative research as well as the amalgamation of epistemology, ontology, and methods into a coherent and purposeful methodology that is ethical, reciprocal, and praxical.
