Course Title: Social Justice and Health Equity: Global Perspectives
Course Description: Exploration of critical transnational challenges in global public health such as food insecurity, the refugee and migrant crisis, slums and the global housing crisis, population growth, complex humanitarian emergencies, global mental health, interpersonal violence, among others. Topics will be considered from a social justice and health equity perspective, including the influence of social, economic, political and environmental systems on global health outcomes.
