Course Description: Power converter topologies:DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, AC/DC rectifiers, AC/AC converters. Semiconductor switching devices. Modeling and control of power converters:steady-state analysis, state space averaging, small-signal model, closed-loop control, simulation. Application of power converters in motor drives and renewable power generation.
