Course Title: Chinese Culture: Tradition and Modernity (W)
Course Description: Critical concepts necessary to analyze Chinese works from the past three millennia. Key topics include indigenous heritage and modern developments with cross-cultural significance, canonizations of major schools of thought (Confucianism, Daoism, Buddhism), interactions between elite and popular cultures, among others.
