Course Title: Feedlot Clerkship
Course Description: Instruction and application of hands-on skills in the management of a working feedlot. Students are required to work a minimum of six hours/week at the MSU Beef Cattle Research Center. Students are expected to develop skills in feeding incoming and older cattle, feed storage, manure management, health programs, evaluation and selection of cattle, facilities maintenance, marketing fed cattle.
